Title IX Coordinator

The Title IX Coordinator oversees the College鈥檚 response to reports and complaints of sex discrimination (including sexual assault, sexual misconduct, relationship violence, and stalking).  The Title IX Coordinator can receive a complaint, provide information or answer questions about the complainant鈥檚 rights or course of action available to them, and can answer questions about the College policies or procedures relating to sex discrimination.

Human Resources works with Title IX and supervisors to address prohibited conduct by employees. HR also aids and provides support to employees who experience prohibited conduct.

Emergency Alert Information

Lamar Police Department uses an emergency alert system to notify the Lamar community of emergency situations, inclement weather closures, and other important public safety information. Alerts are sent to the contact information saved in your Self-Service Banner account.

It is imperative that every student, faculty, and staff member receives these emergency notifications. So, it's very important that you keep this information up-to-date.
